Greg Saligari
Director Principal, Taxation and Accounting
Greg began his career with ANZ during the deregulation era, later moving into merchant banking with Heller Business Finance, specialising in asset and non-asset-backed finance. After leaving the finance sector, he worked as a contract CFO/Financial Controller for several major Melbourne companies, including Monash IVF and Transpacific Industries.
In the mid-2000s, Greg completed his Master’s in Professional Accounting and launched his practice, focusing on tax planning, business structuring, and startup advisory. A Registered Tax Agent, ASIC agent, and voting member of the Institute of Public Accountants, Greg co-founded Compliance Business Advisory with John Cornelius in 2018.
Outside of work, he enjoys photography, fishing, and caravanning through Victoria’s High Country. As well as working from Collins Street Melbourne office. Greg is based at 41 Erica Avenue, Boronia, serving the Eastern Suburbs
John Cornelius
Director Principal, Compliance and Advisory
John brings deep expertise in compliance, business advisory, M&A, and capital raising, including involvement in several IPOs. His career spans listed (ASX, TSX, NYSE, LSE) and non-listed companies, SMEs, and international markets across a range of industries.
With extensive boardroom experience and a strong project focus, John has led multidisciplinary teams across legal, engineering, and geological sectors—offering clients a level of insight and capability rarely found in medium-sized firms.
John is a Registered Tax Agent, ASIC agent, and a voting member of the Institute of Public Accountants. He works from our Collins Street office and is also based in Moorabbin, servicing Melbourne’s southern and south-eastern suburbs.
